Vincent M. DelGiudice, M.S.CCC-SLP
Vincent is a full-time speech-language pathologist who joins Vegas Voice Institute's dynamic therapy team! He is board-certified as a
speech-language pathologist and trained as a medical speech-language pathologist.
He was inspired to become a speech-language pathologist after his grandfather underwent a total laryngectomy. He witnessed firsthand the value of the professionals who helped his grandfather relearn how to communicate with his family, and Vincent recognized that this service played a tremendous part in his recovery. He was impassioned by the incredible expertise and impact of the field, and he knew from then on that his calling in life was to become a speech-language pathologist himself so he could impact people just like his grandfather by assisting them with their voice and swallowing issues. It was this personal experience that influenced him to earn an education in speech-language pathology.
Vincent graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York, Cortland in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016 from the same institution, and he comes to Vegas Voice Institute with diverse medical training. He gained clinical experience evaluating patients in a Brain Injury Unit at Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, New York, providing dysarthria, aphasia, and dysphagia treatments for those who had experienced strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and dementia. He completed his medical externship at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, New York, where he performed swallowing and tracheotomy evaluations, Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS), and evaluations on patients with head and neck cancer post-radiation therapy. He then completed his academic externship at Frazer Elementary/Middle School in Syracuse, New York where he provided speech therapy to the students.
Vincent is a certified Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) provider for patients struggling with Parkinson disease, and has been certified by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech Pathology since 2016. He is passionate about his work and is thrilled to be able to help patients with speech, voice, swallowing, and cognitive problems.
Vincent is a Long Island, New York native and moved to Las Vegas in August of 2016. He has two brothers and in his spare time he enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, trying new foods, and cooking for his loved ones. He strives to be a lifelong learner.
