Sarajean Baldwin M.A.CCC-SLP
Sarajean is a board certified speech-language pathologist. She joined The Vegas Voice Institute
team as a part-time speech pathologist in 2012.
Sarajean completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders as well as a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology, both at the University of South Dakota.
Her internship experiences were diverse in order to gain the highest level of understanding of her role as a speech therapist in many settings. She completed her externship practicums in the public school system of Columbia, Maryland and in a long-term care facility for adults in Minneapolis.
She has clinical experience working in the school system as a speech pathologist providing speech therapy for children with autism. She received her certification to perform flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing FEES) in 2013. She also is a Lee Silverman Voice Treatment certified therapist (LSVT). Sarajean is certified by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology & Audiology and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her certificate of clinical competency in speech-language pathology.
Sarajean grew up in South Dakota, where her hospital and long-term care experience as a certified nurse’s aide (CNA) helped her develop her passion for improving people’s quality of life and healthcare. She enjoys singing in her church’s praise team, horseback riding, white water rafting, and traveling.
