Kyle Truax joined our team as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist at Vegas Voice Institute in 2019. A native to Las Vegas, he was inspired to enter the field of speech pathology when he was teaching English as a second language to children in China and Thailand and found himself interested in the developmental and refinement of the sound of the English language.

Kyle received his Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2014. He gained clinical experience at the UNR speech clinic and completed his externships with Clark County School District and at Vegas Voice Institute’s outpatient voice and swallowing center in 2014.

Kyle has accumulated years of experience in treating a variety of cognitive and communication disorders in the pediatric and adult populations. Kyle is a certified instructor of the PESL accent modification program. Kyle is Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Program (LSVT) certified and is a VitalStim Certified provider for dysphagia treatments in our swallowing institute. He holds the Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology. Kyle is certified in Fiberoptic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES Studies).
